I am well and truly late posting my menu this week, sorry all. The tagine in this weeks menu is absolutely delicious and a great vegetarian winter meal served with cous cous or rice. I usually try to cook up a whole packet at once when preparing dried beans and freeze the extras to use later. If you don't have time to prepare the chickpeas from scratch, canned ones work just as well.
Sunday: Take out
Monday: Tomato Noodle Soup with rolls
Tuesday: Tagine of Pumpkin and Chickpeas
Wednesday: Cashew nut loaf with salad
Thursday: Homemade Pizza
Friday: Dinner with Family
Saturday Night: Birthday Party with Friends
that tagine looks yummy! We've done two chickpea dishes so far this week- some chickpea burger patties with spiced yoghurt and grilled vegies on turkish bread on mon, then last night we had chickpea soup with herb dumplings.
ReplyDeleteIt was, we made flat breads to eat with it, so yum! Your chickpea meals sound very yummy too... I just need to get my kids and husband to eat soup that has 'chunks'they want all their soups pureed. Boring.
