Shalom, the Hebrew name for peace but also the name of the latest knitting pattern I have just completed. I loved this pattern and especially like the twisted rib yoke. I used Malabrigo Yarn which is deliciously soft and squishy -would have loved to add sleeves to the sweater but did not quite have enough yarn, maybe next time....
If you are interested in making your own shallom the pattern can be found here.

Happy Mothers Day!
Happy Mothers day to all those mums out there, I hope you have been thoroughly spoiled, I know I have been! I received some much needed new ugg boots and some gorgeous flowers and I now have some time to myself while dinner is cooking and the kids have all gone to the park with dad to play soccer.

Oaty Biscuits
It's been a while since we did some baking around here so today I tried out this recipe from Taste. They are a fabulous source of excellent recipes and I usually love just about everything I make from there. These are not going to last long around here!
